Best patios in Wichita

Now that nice weather is officially here to stay, it’s time to get out there and enjoy some of Wichita’s best patios! In recent years, Wichita has upped its game in the brewery/ outdoor hang out department. We have many great, local places to choose from that make the spring weather even more enjoyable. So “sip back”, relax, and enjoy the great options we have right here in town!

Central Standard Brewery: Central Standard Brewery is a one of a kind setting in an open garage. They offer their homemade brews as well as sangria and kombucha drinks, all made in-house. With vintage furniture and live music, there only only good vibes here. Not to mention the best local food trucks are always stopping by and serving up some great food.

River City Brewery: River City Brewery is another great setting for a night or lunch out. At the downtown location, there is an upstairs patio that looks out over Wichita’s historic Oldtown. They serve up classics like pizza and burgers as well as their funkier options like mac n’ cheese topped with buffalo chicken. They also have great brews. Can’t beat the combination of patio dining, brews and views.

Industry Oldtown: Industry Oldtown is a little different from the previous two because they do not serve food, however, the atmosphere is great. Industry has one of the best rooftop lounges in Wichita featuring local brews and their own concoctions. They also have games like corn hole and always have a great DJ or live music. This is the perfect place to meet up with friends on the weekend and enjoy the sunset.

Dempsey’s East: Dempsey’s East is a newer addition to the Center and Rock area. They have had such success at their College Hill location that this new location is sure not to disappoint. The patio is covered, but open, and has such a great atmosphere for hanging out and kicking back with friends and family. They have TVs, fun signs and lights, and some of the best burgers in Wichita.
